Job Description

Our hugely successful Volkswagen Dealership in Peterborough is looking to recruit Used Car Preparation ControllerAbout the positionThe successful candidate for our Used Car Preparation Controller position will have previous experience in a similar role, proven customer service skills and show the ability to work to deadlines and targets/work well in a team.You will be welcomed into a friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting product. A large part of the Used Car Preparation Controller position involves:

  • As and when necessary create work sheets for the preparation of used vehicles.
  • Keeping accurate records use of Prep-tracker
  • Prepare images for all forms of advertising media on and off line ensuring they are uploaded to all sites in a timely manner
  • Ensure accurate mileages are entered and keep up-to-date
  • Ensure vehicles display accurate prices and number plates at all times
  • Maintain display standards of Demonstrator vehiclesincluding maintaining accurate mileage records
  • Arrange for any external preparation work to be carried out in line with Suppliers and Sub Contractors agreements on authorisation of Used Car Sales Manager
  • Ensure that all vehicles are in the correct location within agreed time scales for the purposes of preparation
  • Carry out Quality Checks on any external work instigated. Carry out additional on-site duties as required from time-to-time including driving duties
About our requirementsWe expect our new Used Car Preparation Controller to demonstrate some skills that will prove very beneficial in the position, including:
  • Experience from within a Dealership environment (desirable)
  • Customer awareness.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Full driving license.
