Job Description

Trainee Logistics Administrator - AM SHIFT - £18,000 - £20000 a year Are you currently looking to move into the world of Waste and LogisticsWe are currently recruiting for a Trainee Logistics Administrator for our Peterborough depot. This role is perfect for somebody looking for a move into the waste and logistics area with a clear career path.What does the position involve

  • Working as part of the traffic management team
  • Reporting to the Transport Manager
  • Responsible for day to day supervision of a designated operational team
  • Improve performance by monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Route work as efficiently and cost efficiently as possible
  • Handle customer interaction via telephone and email in a professional manner
  • React to and return internal service enquiries
  • General admin duties such as input of disposal data and collating of performance data
  • Follow guidance to ensure Legislative and procedural compliance on maintenance and WTD
  • Liaise with neighbouring depots to optimise customer service
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels within the depot
