Job Description

A trainee field sales role with full training provided. Promoting a specialist range of insulation products into a network of architects, contractors, developers and local authorities across East Anglia and Northern Home Counties area.Package: £32k-£35k basic with a £6k+ uncapped bonus scheme (top performers are earning + £18k), company car, mobile, laptop, pension, healthcare and 25 days holidayTerritory: East Anglia and the Northern Home Counties - Norfolk, Suffolk Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and NorthamptonshireProducts: Building insulation for roofs, walls, lofts and floorsCustomers: Architects, contractors, developers and local authoritiesThe Role - Trainee Area Sales Manager:

  • After a thorough induction and training program you will be field based promoting a leading range of multi-foil insulation products into the building sector
  • Tracking and securing projects with architects, contractors, developers and local authorities
  • Delivering CPD seminars and carrying out product familiarisation meetings
  • Going through building control approvals to identify suitable projects
  • Working alongside a Channel team, that will manage the relationship with merchants and distributors
The Successful Applicant - Trainee Area Sales Manager:
  • You will ideally have some sales experience from within the construction industry
  • Although this is not essential, as the role comes with full industry, product and sales training, and you could even be a construction graduate looking to carve out a career in field sales
  • Either way my client is looking for someone of graduate calibre, someone they can invest in, train and develop
  • You will be ambitious, driven and keen to learn.
