Job Description

Position: ToolroomAssistantSalary: £25,000 - £30,000Location – PeterboroughMonday-Friday Interaction Engineering have teamed up with a rapidly growing manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Peterborough. Due to an influx in work, they are looking for extra support in the toolroom. You will be working closely with the precision engineersto create moulds for tools. If you are looking to progress your career with a globally recognised company this is the role for youMain Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform Tool Preventative Maintenance (TPM) on tools in moulding machines.
  • Expertise in stripping and servicing injection mould tools, with training provided.
  • Safely operate overhead cranes, with training offered as part of the onboarding process.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours when necessary to meet production demands.
  • Undertake any other duties essential for the job, as directed by the Tool Room Manager/Supervisor.
  • Collaborate across production sites as required.
  • Participate in ongoing training initiatives provided by the company.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Proficient use of overhead cranes, with a willingness to undergo training.
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet production requirements.
  • Willingness to undertake any required training.
  • Capability to work on various production sites as needed.
