Toolmaker *Salary 24k-34K *Peterborough* *Monday-Friday* *Multiple shift pattern* Interaction Recruitment have teamed up with a well-established injection company who are looking to take on experienced toolmakers to start immediately on a range of shift patterns. **Early shift, Day shift and Late shift available** The Role: Ensure all tools are kept in good working order to enable production to meet its requirements. To ensure all modifications or repairs are completed in a timely fashion. To work in conjunction with the Tool Room Manager / Tool Room Foreman to ensure all breakdowns and maintenance on tools is carried out on a regular basis. To be fully conversant with vertical milling, turning, spark eroding/ Wire eroding and use of a radial drill. To have a high enough skill level to complete polishing repair tasks. To repair and maintain mould tools. To be able to successfully modify tools to drawing. To be able to use the overhead crane safely. To work the required hours when needed to ensure production demands are met. Undertake any other duties as necessary to fulfil the needs of the job and its objective as and when requested by the Tool Room Manager / Supervisor. To help train apprentices / improvers. To work on any of the production sites as and when required. The Candidate: Have reasonable welding skills (TIG) Training can be given High enough skill level to complete polishing repair tasks.
