Job Description

Telesales Executive - Peterborough - £20,500 + uncapped commission (realistic OTE £25K) + excellent benefitsOur client based in Peterborough are looking for an enthusiastic Telesales Executive to contribute in generating sales. You will be responsible for contacting potential customers with the aim of generating appointments for the Sales Team along with maintaininggood customer relationships.An effective telesales executive must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills. The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in customers and developing business.Responsibilities include:

  • Contacting potential customers to inform them about a product or service
  • Answering questions about products and / or the company
  • Gather and confirm contact details of key personnel at potential customers
  • Understand customer requirements and make appointments for the sales team
  • Enter and update customer details in the CRM keeping records of calls and sales
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as telesales executive or other sales/customer service role
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs and telephone systems
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
