Job Description

Are you a natural when it comes to technology Are you a naturally curious person with real interest in software systems and how technology worksA new opportunity has arisen for a Technical Support to join a growing technology company as they expand their team.Your role is crucial to assisting their customers with that first line support whilst getting involved in various projects. The long-term prospects with our client are endless and will open a number of doors for you as they grow and develop too.If you are looking for a career to combine your interest in software and people, this position could be for you.As the Technical Support Advisor, you will be:- Providing application support to customers- Deal with incoming enquiries, create/update process flow diagrams and mind maps- Updating client information Document client requirements in Azure DevOps- Assist the lead Business Analyst with requirements gathering sessions (remote or on-site)- Data migration and data quality validation - using various tools including Excel, Excel macros, Access queries, Access VB script etc., to transform and update data- CRM configuration, design form layouts and views- Create CRM reports and dashboards- Create PDF layouts using XSLT- Interact with developers to review functionality of PHP scripts or C# applications based on client requirements- Ad-hoc training on specific features via screen-share- Interaction with suppliers and partners, for example, Workbooks- Sales order processing and commissioning of new systems, including initial setup activities such as creating users, installing software, etc.- Answering phones, handling general enquiries and escalating as needed- Using case management, tracking, resolving and communicating with clients on support issues- Supporting clients on Workbooks and Microsoft Dynamics- As the Technical Support Advisor you will be: - Highly organised with the ability to perform multi-faceted technical tasks- Manage yourself and clients on project deadlines and priorities- An inquiring mind- Adaptable and relishing an environment where no two days are the same- Previous experience importing, exporting and transforming data in relational databases, CRM systems or Excel- Analytical ability - being able to identify trends and find anomalies in databases or Excel; summarising and drawing conclusions from your analysis- Patience to deal with customers with (sometimes!) low technical capabilityIf you are looking for an exciting opportunity to use your passion and interest in technology, then we would encourage you to apply for the role of Technical Support Advisor.
