Job Description

Teaching Assistants - Required January 2023We currently have fantastic permanent and temporary opportunities for Teaching Assistants to join Dogsthorpe Infant School in the New Year. The roles are 25 hours per week but we will consider applications for part-time hours, please state on yourapplication what you are looking for.As a Teaching Assistant you will support the Class Teacher by undertaking work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for children either on a 1:1 basis, or in a small group setting. Due to the high-level needs of some of our cohorts, the successfulperson will be expected to support children with EHCPs as part of the classroom setting, and also in provision with other SEND children across the year group. Working Hours25 hours per week (hours will be timetabled every day), term time only plus 5 days.We will also consider applications for part-time hours. We have temporary and permanent opportunities available.SalaryGrade 6 (£22,369 - £24,496 FTE)Actual Salary based on 25 hours per week Term Time + 5 days £12,886 - £14,111 per annumAbout Dogsthorpe Infants School - Central Avenue, Dogsthorpe, Peterborough, PE1 4LHDogsthorpe Infant School joined HAT in December 2020 and is a happy and successful infant school. The school has three forms of entry and a total capacity for 270 children in EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2. Whilst DIS is located in a different part of Peterborough,we are already developing close working with HATs other schools with EYFS and KS1.
