Job Description

Job Title: Talent Acquisition SpecialistLocation: Hybrid - working from home with 2 - 3 visits per month to Peterborough HQ possible.We are looking for an experienced inhouse talent acquisition professional to join our team.The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) will immerse themselves into their allocated business areas and build strong relationships with key stakeholders to fully understand resource requirements, ensure delivery against these and be the point of expertisefor resourcing.Were in our second year of having an inhouse recruitment team and there is plenty to get involved in with improving processes/tools, coaching stakeholders and creating assets that can be used to help showcase AB Agri as a great place to work. If yourelooking for a role where you will get the opportunity to put your TA expertise and knowledge to great use and help to build the ways of working for an inhouse recruitment model, then this could be the role for you.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Being a trusted partner covering talent insight, recruitment, talent networking and pipelining, EVP and Inclusion & Diversity recruitment initiatives.
  • Designing excellent recruitment processes by conducting recruitment briefs with managers/HR and then writing engaging job adverts, creating and designing interviews that enable talent and role suitability to be assessed in an engaging and fair way, beinga part of interview panels for some roles and leading interview debriefs to select the best candidate and collate feedback.
  • Identifying the best route to market and identifying new recruiting channels for us to trial when required.
  • Direct sourcing candidates and completing talent research to include talent mapping, labour heat maps and undertaking research and analysis for a range of projects including industry/company/biographical research.
  • Monitoring both the quality and potential of all hires and ensure that the attraction, selection and assessment stages of recruitment support raising the bar.
  • Being an active participant of our Inclusion & Diversity strategy, owning TA actions that come from the plan that leads to us increasing the number of people hired from underrepresented groups.
What were looking for:
  • A credible recruitment professional you will work at pace and be able to deliver on niche requirements in a business that changes often.
  • Experience working in an inhouse recruitment team, preferably in a global matrix environment and partnering with senior and operational hiring managers and HR Partners.
  • A successful track record of creating inclusive recruitment campaigns and direct sourcing diverse talent.
  • Experience of recruiting internationally would be beneficial.
  • Experience creating and using talent mapping, labour market heat maps and other talent insight reports.
