Job Description

Salary Circa £32,000 Home based & office - Locations Peterborough, Huntingdon, Lincoln, Norwich or Milton KeynesFull time, 37 hours a weekAnglian Water offers a flexible approach, this role offers you the flexibility to work from home and from an Anglian Water office. Your base location could be in either Peterborough, Huntingdon, Lincoln, Norwich or Milton Keynes - Depending on your location.Join us on our journey Working within a team of analysts and the wider smart water systems team, you will be responsible for driving insight into our systems performance. Working with stakeholders across water services business stream you will use a combination of system toolsand develop data sets, to provide a deep understanding of how and why our systems perform in the way they do.You will oversee & document the development of operational reports and visualisation of data to inform decisions and enable the release of operational efficiencies through prospect and opportunity discovery & development.Providing thorough in-depth reporting and analysis to identify known or suspected performance issues and correlating these with other datasets to uncover opportunities and provide insight into relationships, whilst escalating identified operational and businessrisks appropriately. You will also be required to provide technical knowledge across the systems, applications & tools being used.Finally ensuring that you become an active contributor within Water Services across all areas where smart water teams interact.As a valued employee, youll be entitled to:

What does it take to be a System Performance Analyst
  • Knowledge of water network and supply operations desirable
  • Excellent understanding of systems such as SAP & telemetry data
  • Experience of aligning complex data sets with variable quality to build efficient tooling or reports
  • Experience of building visualisation tools & reports within ArcGIS & PowerBI
  • Proven ability to explore and mine data as required
  • Strong communication skills & proven ability to meet delivery timescales
  • Proven track record of continuous improvement & learning
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Strong IT systems & application skills
