Job Description

Our client is a global, ambitious healthy and ethical drinks business that has been established in Europe and now due to their growth plans and due to embark on a key strategic development of their growth plans in the UK, near Peterborough.Due to the growth plans they are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Analyst to support and report into the Head of Supply Chain.This role will have a focus on reporting data and interpreting it to identity issues which are affecting rising costs within the supply chain process. The successful candidate will then be responsible for working collaboratively to provide improvement solutions,with the customer in mind.Responsibilities:

  • Using a combination of data and business understanding to turn it into insight, root causing issues, defining problems, and designing creative solutions.
  • Maintaining & developing insight reports to give visibility of how the business is performing and what we need to do to improve.
  • Keeping customer focus as a priority at all times
  • Act as the main point of contact for the Customer Services team for daily stock availability queries
  • Be able to provide accurate intake forecasts
  • Identify changes to inbound stock levels and react appropriately
  • Have awareness of the current global logistics industry and Brexit impact
  • Ability to work to deadlines
Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience working in a Supply Chain environment
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to understand and manage complex data, and to anticipate and highlight issues, taking decisive action.
  • Adopt a hands-on approach
The requirement to be in the Peterborough office is minimum 2 days a week.
