An exciting opportunity to join a leading global brand.Role:StrategicAccount ManagerIndustry:Heavy equipment/Capital equipment/Site equipment - Mining &QuarryingPackage: base salary of circa£59,000with a bonusscheme andacar allowanceThe companyMy clientsare a leading global brand whospecialise in capital equipment sales and rental, as well assupplyingassociated parts and related technologies. They sell, rent and provide parts and service for equipment and engines to their customers in various industries, including mining, construction and a wide range of power systems applications.Due to continuedgrowththey are looking for an experienced Account Manager with previous knowledge and experience within their sector to join them.This is an exciting opportunity where you will be working with thecompany’sbiggest accountsin the UK, many of which will be global companies.The rewardsoffered include an uncapped bonus scheme and a company who can offer greatfutureprogressionopportunities.Job Summary:

  • Manage and develop a defined list of key strategic customer accounts within the quarrying, waste and industrial division.
  • Identify growth opportunities that drive revenues and profitability from Parts, Service and Machine (New/Used and Rental) sales.
  • Execute thecompany’sgrowth strategy with defined mutual customers in alignment with your peer group of customer account managers.
  • Build key strategic relationships with various key stakeholders (Board Level to Site Manager) with a view to understanding their long-term needs and requirements.
  • Provide a consultative service and drive to become the ‘Trusted Expert’ in the way of technical and commercial support and operational understanding of the equipment your customer operates.
  • Proactively advise on ownership strategies and repairs based on the application the customer operates and production requirements needed from the assets.
  • Measure machine and operator performance using onboard telematics from the equipment. Drive Proactive vs. Reactive work methodology.

  • About you
  • Substantial experience in an appropriate/associatedproduct support sector with demonstrable success.
  • Key Account or Account Management experience
  • You will haveextensive experience and knowledge in the Quarrying & Mining industry
  • Commercial and operational understanding of lifecycle ownership of quarrying equipment
  • Aftermarketgo to market experience from aservice basedorganisation
  • Experience ofbuilding strong customer relationships and delivering customer centric solutions.
  • Results driven
  • Strong interpersonal skillsand the ability to network within the industry
