Job Description

Solar Engineer (Power Plants)Peterborough £42,000- £50,000 DOE + Bonus + 33 days Holiday + Company Vehicle + Mobile + Pension + Life Cover + Regular Salary ReviewDo you have experience as Solar Engineer, looking to work for Europes leading energy service providers in the field of modern energy solutions that focus on sustainability and climate neutrality for solar PV and battery storage sectors Do you want to be a part of the next generation of the European energy transition, with a company that will prioritise your success and will provide you with incomparable company benefits and a competitive salary On Offer is the opportunity to work for one of the worlds leading EPC service providers in the development, construction and operation of solar power plants, installing over 480 PV systems with a total output of more than 4 GW worldwide. You will be Responsiblefor routine maintenance and remedial work on solar PV systems for a capacity of 1,7 GW of PV plants either working alone or as part of a team in Peterborough and surrounding areas. The Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for complying with company procedures.
  • Responsible for performing Preventative Maintenance accordingly to the PPM annual plan.
  • Responsible for performing Corrective Maintenance as occurs.
  • Reporting of activities performed on-site, upon any site visit and on a daily basis, through an online reporting system.
  • Comply with all required fire, health and safety requirements for the environment in which you are working, including making yourself aware of the current applicable policies and risk assessments and acting accordingly, and attending any required training.
The Person:
  • Minimum of Level 2 City & Guild qualification in Electrical Installations
  • C&G 2382-18 preferable PV
  • PV & O&M Experience
