Job Description

Skilled Production OperativeWe are recruiting for Skilled Production Operatives roles in the Spalding area to work in various areas such as: QA Auditor, Picker, Key Operative, Production Operative. Working for a recruitment agency on a market leading FMCG food production site.As a Skilled Production Operative you will need to:

  • Have attention to detail
  • Be able to read and write in English
  • Be reliable
    • Immediate starts available. Training will be provided.Details:
  • Dayshift: 06:00 - 18:00, from £8.99 up to £10.07 per hour, overtime from £11.43 up to £12.59 per hour
  • Nightshift: 18:00 - 6:00 or 22:00 - 06:00. From £9.22 up to £10.74 per hour, overtime from £11.95 up to £13.43 per hour
    • Overtime available.
  • Location: Pinchbeck, Spalding
  • Duration: Ongoing
    • There are roles available for Skilled Production Operatives in the following departments:
  • Filling - you will have to be able to operate machinery, complete paperwork, mechanical skills would be a benefit
  • Packing - you will have to be able to conduct CCP checks, work with computer operated date coding, pull pallets
  • Prep - you will have to weigh ingredients and understand recipes, complete paperwork
  • Picker - you will have to be able to work in a chilled / cold environment, picking to customer orders using a hand held scanner, stacking the products correctly on pallets/cages ensuring no damage to products.
  • QA Auditor - you will have to be able to do the maintenance of site HACCP documentation for product quality, audit the process against agreed standards/manufacturing specification, the sites process control system in operation and the associated paperwork and the key process line activity of product attribute monitoring
  • Key Operative - you will have to be able to Deliver line productivity and efficiency targets. Resolving issues/problems when they arise. Produce quality products in line with the agreed attribute/production plan.
  • Mixing Operative - you will have to be able to read and understand recipes, carry outweighing and mixing
