Are you a Housing professional looking for your next opportunityRole: Service Manager - Home Ownership Salary: £52,200/annumType: PermanentLocation: PeterboroughWe are working with a fantastic Social Housing organisation based in Peterborough who are looking for a Service Manager - Home Ownership to join them on a permanent basis as soon as possible. They have a social heart, and their vision is to change lives through drive, resources, and passion.The role will see you take responsibility for the Home Ownership service, to lead and to manage an innovative approach to delivering a value for money service that is valued by residents and stakeholders alike.Key accountabilities include:

  • Lead the Home Ownership service and ensure regulatory compliance and high levels of customer service whilst managing and developing the team in line with policies and procedures.
  • Manage the service for new Homeowners working closely with the Director of New Business and Development and the Sales Teams to ensure a resident first approach.
  • Be responsible for financial management with continual monitoring of the Home Ownership budget and lead the annual service charge review process to ensure it conforms to regulation and best practice.
  • Work with the Asset Management team and take responsibility for the full cost recovery of major works, ensuring Section 20 principles are adhered to on all shared ownership/leasehold properties.
  • Ensure customer engagement is at the forefront of the service and lead on the transformation of a framework for customer engagement using a variety of communication methods.
The ideal candidate will be an engaging leader who can operate strategically. They will be a creative thinker with thorough technical knowledge. Detailed knowledge of Home Ownership and Leasehold is essential with the ability to manage diverse relationshipsand drive customer engagement and satisfaction.It is essential that the candidate has their own means of transport and a Full UK driving license.If you feel you meet the above criteria or are interested in learning more about this exciting new opportunity in further detail, please get in touch.
