Job Description

Do you want to be part of a small team but make a big differenceDo you want to work 40-50 hours a week with no shifts or weekendsAre you an experienced Warehouse Executive keen for a changeThen this could be the role for you!Permanent role is £26K - £28K PA Monday - Friday 40 hours per weekCounterbalance Forklift Licence is requiredWe are recruiting for a long standing client of ours for an experienced Senior Warehouse Executive to work within a small warehouse in the Peterborough area. Our client offers a fantastic working environment where people are at the heart of all they do.This is not a typical warehouse position, you will be required to:

  • Learn the products, quality check goods received against orders to ensure accuracy
  • Repackaging goods with the correct labels
  • Ensuring goods received have been placed in the correct allocated spaces
  • Check picking lists on a daily basis
  • Ensuring picking lists are correct
  • Ensuring all parts of the product are picked correctly for despatch
  • Ensuring goods are despatched to the correct address
  • Ensuring stock control database is updated and maintained wth accuracy
  • Monitoring stock levels and alerting management when items are low
  • Processing returned items and corresponding paperwork promptly
  • Loading and unloading lorries with a forklift
This position would suit:
  • A seasoned Warehouse Professional with a strong work ethic
  • A professional who takes pride in their work
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Previous experience working within a Goods in/ Despatch role
  • Counter Balance Forklift Licence essential
  • Must have excellent IT skills as use of a database is with every order
  • Proven experience of stock control
