About the role:We have an exciting new vacancy for an experienced Senior Manager to oversee and lead our Day Opportunities, multi-site provision providing enablement and support to adults with learning disabilities and autism to live more independently and have more fulfilled lives.The department supports 250 adults, ranging for those with moderate disabilities through to people with complex needs requiring intensive care and support.An independent evaluation found that the department is highly effective and works with individuals whether that is in the development of an individual support plan or the creation of department strategy and activities.Working collaboratively with the Designated Safeguarding Lead and deputies, the role also includes developing and implementing the organisations safeguarding strategy and ensuring the wellbeing of the college’s learners and the people we support.The successful candidate will also be the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead joining a team of dedicated, hardworking and committed staff.This is an important post playing a key part in the continuing success, development and expansion of day services across the City.Who we are:City College Peterborough - our name reflects our continued focus on providing courses and education to all those who live in and work across Peterborough.
