* Growing SMEPeterboroughOffice basedBroster Buchanan are delighted to be working in partnership with an established and profitable Peterborough SME business.Following recent growth and with some more exciting announcements later this year, the business has a newly created position to support the senior finance team across a range of process improvements and reporting.This could suit a recently qualified practice leaver, or someone in industry seeking a more value add positionKey duties include* Manage month end close including full BS recs * Ensure processes are in place to ensure all financial data is accurately captured in the financial systems in a timely basis * Support improved MI to the business - an interest in business intelligence tools* Take the lead on monthly Board Pack production and commentary* Support the development and delivery of business performance reports* Support development of budgeting and forecasting process* Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and submission to HMRC for all business entities* Year end audit support* Support continual process improvements in all aspects of the role including appropriate financial controls* Adhoc projectsSuitable applicants will be fully qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA, possess good level excel and systems experience and be confident communicating up to board level.If you want to feel an integral part of the team and understand the full dynamics of a business, please reach out to or or
