The Role & Key Responsibilities Job Title:Senior Data Management Analyst (DWH Specialist)Location: Peterborough/ hybrid (Work from home, UK based)Are you a data management professional who has the ability to lead and manage end-to-end data analysis projects Do you have the ability to collaborate with stakeholders in order to understand requirements and share insights to support decision makingWe are seeking a Senior Data Management Analyst to work on an ERP migration programme (on-premise to Azure) as part of the Global Technology Services team. As a key member of the data team you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-makingwithin our organisation. You will lead and oversee complex data analysis projects, provide strategic insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and solve critical business problems. Your expertise in data analysis, modelling,management and business acumen will contribute to the development of data-driven strategies and initiatives. What you will be doing:

• Lead and manage end-to-end data analysis projects, including data collection, cleansing, analysis, and visualisation.
• Apply advanced statistical and analytical techniques to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, patterns, and insights, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including executives, business leaders, and subject matter experts, to understand their requirements and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making processes.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts, providing technical expertise and thought leadership in data analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Develop and implement data quality standards, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across multiple data sources and platforms.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and advancements in the field of data analysis, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage new techniques and technologies to enhance analysis capabilities.
• Communicate complex data insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders through visualizations, presentations, and reports.
• Collaborate with data engineering, BI, Software Engineering and IT teams to optimize data infrastructure and processes for improved scalability, efficiency and help business teams with data related requirements, analytics, business intelligence and modellingprojects
• Create interactive visuals, dashboards and ad-hoc or one-off reports for the business using tools such as Power BI / Infor Birst / Excel / PowerPivot / Power Query

What you will bring:

• Ability to work with complex data sets in a multi-sectorenvironment
• Experienced in data querying using SQL on different platforms, such as using SQL within Power BI, in SSIS or SSMS
• Ahighlevel of proficiency in Data Analysis
• Experience with Relational Databases(SQL)and Data Warehousing
• Understanding of how the Power BI Service works
• Excellent story telling using visualisation tools like Power BI / Birst
• Knowledge ofdimensional modelling
• Experience with Data Integration
• Confidentincommunicating with stakeholders of all levels, including advising, training, and supportingstaff and clientswherenecessary
• Self-starter/able to workindependently
• A track record of working in an agile environment (Scrum)
• Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools
• Ability to organise and manage own time according to agreed project priorities anddeadlines
• Best practicesindataanalysis andmodelling
• Up-to-dateknowledge ofthelatest BI features and functionality
• Knowledge and experience in data lakes,factories,or data warehouses on Azure
• Experience implementing and supporting Self-service BI tools such as Microsoft PowerBI,Excel (PowerPivot, PowerQuery)and Infor Birst
• Data modelling (SSAS, Excel/PowerQuery,Power BIand/Infor Birst) experience isessential
