Job Description

Semi Senior AccountantPeterborough£25,000 - £30,000 (DOE)Are you an ambitious accountant in the early stages of your career looking for a paced past and exciting opportunityWould you like to join a premier accountancy firm renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation, where you’ll not only gain invaluable experience in the ever-evolving field of accountancy but also be a part of a close-knit community thatcelebrates individual achievements and supports collective growth.AJ Chambers are in partnership with a very well established accountancy firm on their search for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their offices in Peterborough.What will your role involve

  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Preparation of year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and Limited companies in a wide range of industries
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Using cloud accounting packages such as QuickBooks and Xero. Experience is desired but full training is provided to enable you to become a certified advisor in both
  • Addressing client queries and providing support when required
  • Opportunity to assist with statutory audits and visiting clients onsite
  • Supporting trainee members of the team to help them develop their knowledge
Experience required: The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified with experience in practice and studying or looking to study towards ACCA or ACA.What are the benefits This firm take a refreshingly modern approach to accountancy.
