News UK is also home to Wireless, a leading UK and Irish media company boasting independent local and national radio stations.The Team: Our team, HR Data Administration and Reporting, is responsible for the proactive management of HR data; we provide input for processes involving HR Data with a continuous improvement philosophy.We support Technology in delivering changes to SAP and ensure that compliance is at the centre of all our activities.We establish and help to implement sustainable systems, frameworks and processes to ensure efficient and effective capture and management of HR data.We offer a service to the business and third parties through providing accurate and well-presented management information.Your Role: You will join a team of Data & Reporting Analysts and Coordinators specialising in use of SAP HR with opportunity to participate in ongoing Workday project implementation. You will have interaction with Operations HR & Payroll teams, HRBPs & Coordinators and Workday project work stream leads.This role is for a fixed term of 9 months and will ideally be a blend of remote working and on site in Peterborough (subject to COVID).Day to day:HR Data & Reporting· Maintain personnel data and organisation structures in SAP· Manage work schedule rule changes and holiday quota adjustments· Respond to HR data queries and information requests· Process HR memos and buddy check changes· Participate in data and process improvements· Participate in SAP HRSP & system update testing· Provide end user support and training· Ensure processes and data management actions are GDPR & SOX compliantProject activities· Data cleanse for migration from SAP to Workday· Workday solution testing - Integration and UATWhat we’re looking for from you: · Functional knowledge of SAP or Workday· Operational experience in SAP or Workday· Knowledge of HCM business processes· HR Systems testing experience· Excellent analytical and numeracy skills· Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel/Google Sheets· Experience of delivering Management Information· Good understanding of data protection, GDPR and audit complianceWhat do I show· A self-starter with good organisational skills.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills· Highly motivated with a "can do" attitude· Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines· Excellent attention to details and proactive in dealing with data issues· Flexible and adaptable with collaborative skillsWhats in it for you · Opportunity to be a part of a great HR data and operations team· Opportunity to be part of a Workday project implementationEqual opportunities:We are a diverse team and strive to maximise and encourage every individual’s potential.
