Circa £30k, dependant on skills and experience12 month Fixed Term Contract Full time, 37 hours a weekOffice & Home working - PeterboroughAnglian Water offers a flexible approach, this role provides you the flexibility to work from home and from an Anglian Water office. Your base location would be in Thorpe Wood House in Peterborough.Dive into the world of water!We are currently looking for a SAP Data Lead to join the Team on a 12 month fixed term contract.This role will be involved in all aspects of data cleansing, in preparation for SAP HANA go live. This starts with the identification of SAP data sets that require cleansing and liaison with data stakeholders and owners to ensure requirements are understood.This will lead to the completion of physical cleansing, requiring an expert level of knowledge of SAP and AWS business functionality. Following the cleansing of data, there is a requirement to ensure this is reviewed and action taken to further cleanse asrequired.The position will involve liaising with a large range of stakeholders is required and the role will work closely with the Data Team, SAP Data Cleansing Manager and SAP Project Manager to ensure there is a joined-up approach and common understanding of progressand actions taken.What will you be doing

• Work with Enterprise Data to both confirm the data architecture that lies across the operational, asset and wider SAP data landscape
• Work with Enterprise Data to create SAP data quality reports that visualise the existing quality of operational data in scope
• Work with the SAP programme (data and functional leads) and especially the overall SAP Data Cleansing Manager to prioritise the data that is essential to facilitate data migration to SAP4/Hana from SAP ECC6
• Work with business users of the data in Wholesale, Operations and wider (asset management etc), to confirm the required quality. It will be essential to ensure that the identified Data Owners and Stewards for the data being cleansed are enacting the accountabilitiesand responsibilities for the data.
• Create (write) and own data cleansing specifications for all prioritised data objects that define how the data be cleansed and the target quality required
• Create new relevant enriched data sets, or update existing data to cleanse existing data
• Execute mass update transactions in relevant SAP modules, including the creation of script files.
• Execute LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) supporting single or periodic data transfer from non-SAP to SAP systems (training in executing LSMW will be provided).

What does it take to be a SAP Data Lead

• Expert knowledge of SAP and (AWS) business functionality of the object being cleansed
• Experienced with using relevant SAP modules and the technical ability to execute SAP standard transactions to create, update and delete data.
• Good communicator able to communicate detailed data to a non-data literate audience
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Ability to manage/prioritise workloads
