Starting Salary £22,078Based in Peterborough, with travel across the Anglian Water Region Full time, 37 Hours a week Become part of our sampling team! Before it reaches our customers tap, drinking water is cleaned, disinfected and tested to ensure its safe to be consumed; after the water has been flushed and poured into our sewers, its delivered to our water recycling works, where its cleaned beforeit gets passed back to nature, where its also tested to ensure its not going to damage the environment. What will you be doing Joining the scientific sampling team, you will travel around the region visiting the sampler depots, picking up samples and driving them to Anglian Waters laboratory for them to be analysed.Following vital scientific processes, youll continuously work within the regulatory guidelines, meeting our quality standards to train to sample water treatment works and recycling centres, boreholes, reservoirs, rivers and customer properties collectingwater samples and carrying out on-site chlorine tests. You will prepare various sampling bottles, ensuring the accuracy of every single sample that you collect.The work youll do is critical to the whole scientific analysis process; you really will make a difference.Youll build effective working relationships with your colleagues back in the laboratory, who are relying on your high levels of service and youll also engage with customers, where youll be representing Anglian Water in a professional and approachablemanner delivering excellent customer service.As a valued employee, youll be entitled to:
