Job Description

Sales Support EngineerFull Time, PermanentPeterborough£40,000 - £42,000In a nutshellOur client is a global leader of manufacturing bespoke and intelligent solutions for vehicles. Their products are sold all over the world with a huge presence in the UK. Established in the late 1800s, they are at the leading edge of creating innovative solutionsfor their customers all over the world.Working within an established team you will play a pivotal role in providing technical product support to the sales team and customers to ensure that the products supplied for the vehicles meet industry standards and are fit for purpose.This role would suit an Engineer, Workshop Manager/Controller, Service Manager/Advisor, After Sales Manager/Advisor, Sales Manager or Product Manager who has a technical understanding of commercial vehicles.Whats involved for the Sales Support Engineer

  • Provide technical / engineering advice and support to sales team
  • Responsible for technical specifications on all customer orders
  • Manage the demonstration team on all equipment demos
  • Attend exhibitions and events
  • Assist in major projects
  • Provide competitor insights
  • Attend sales meetings
  • Build supplier relationships with manufacturers
What youll need
  • Commercial vehicle background
  • Sales or engineering background
  • Ability to interpret technical information
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate at all levels
