Therewill be a great handover period too with the existing RF Engineers.We already have a strong internal R&D team - made up of three main areas:Hardware: Two Analogue/RF Engineers (both seniors), one Mechanical Engineer, one firmware (FPGA) Engineer and one PCB CAD Technician. Software: Seven Software Engineers (four Embedded Software Engineers, three PC/Server Engineers) Test and Acceptance: Four software test, four product testers (who also engage in the development of automated test systems having a mix of hardware and software skills)We also have a great Project Engineer who coordinates project activities, scheduling, and project reporting - to help you maximise your time.Our systems engineering team contains another three engineers (two with core skills in electronics, one in embedded software) who primarily work on our R&D activities.Across the R&D team, we have a great mix of junior and senior engineers here and encourage and support everyones individual career development.Your background: RF Design Engineer, Analogue Design Engineer - Radars, Defence, AerospaceYou will have practical experience in the detailed design of analogue / RF electronic circuits at discrete component level You will be comfortable performing RF modelling and simulation An appreciation of printed circuit board (PCB) design for RF circuits A strong personal interest in design and technology The ability for you to problem solve / use your own initiativeIf you have any experience of the following too ....Design of filters, VCOs, amplifiers and mixers within the VHF band Experience of collaborating with embedded software engineers providing the software control and monitoring of analogue / RF circuits The knowledge to guide PCB designers with the placement and layout of critical circuits Appreciation of designing for prototype and production testing - we manufacture on site you can be really involved with that!
