Job Description

Exciting opportunity to join busy contact centre in Peterborough as a Repairs Advisor. Providing essential services to customers across the UK, you will be their first point of contact and will need to work efficiently with them to establish details relatingto their call and then communicate the outcome.As Repairs Advisor you will join a vibrant team of 20 plus delivering these essential front line services and will be:

  • Answer calls, diagnose faults and raise jobs for tenants based throughout the UK
  • Working through a script to suggest potential fixes and work throughs before establishing the severity and urgency of the issue, communicating outcomes and timescales to your customer within the call - one stop service and centre of excellence.
  • Monitor allocated cases to ensure suitable outcomes, and respond to update requests from customers and colleagues.
  • Accurately updating the repairs system with call details and agreed outcomes.
  • Escalating customer complaints where necessary
You must have previous experience working in a busy customer facing role, and be able to maintain high levels of professionalism at all times, even when your customer is frustrated and upset. Maths and English GCSE at level 4 or grade c are essential.You will need to be resilient and resourceful, working at pace and under pressure - but all the while remaining calm and considered to your customers. You must enjoy working within a team, and helping those around you with their workloads, as you will needtheir support at times too.Working hours are 35 hours Monday to Friday between 8 am and 6 pm, so flexibility to cover shifts is ideal.
