An opportunity for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to become the biocide go-to person at an expanding global infection control company - strategy, compliance, registrations, expert advice - you’ll become their expert!We are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join a fast-growing international infection control business. You will join the large regulatory and technical team and become their biocides specialist. This role will include developing strategy, managing compliance of new and existing biocidal products, preparing dossiers and managing experts who will develop data and being the company’s font of knowledge for BPR, REACH and CLP.The company has established brands, a global presence and ambition to continue growing. This is a new role to increase the in-house biocide and chemical regulatory knowledge; you will be responsible for maintaining up to date knowledge of BPR, REACH and CLP, provision of advice and guidance to management, input to strategy for new product development and product defence, ensuring compliance of the biocidal products globally, developing documentation and dossiers for biocidal registrations, managing internal and external experts who will develop high quality supporting data and maintenance of exiting global authorisations. You will work closely in internal regulatory and technical colleagues; you will become the biocides go to person.We are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist ideally with existing biocidal industry experience; you may be from another manufacturer, a consultancy or possibly competent authority; you must be able to work autonomously, have excellent regulatory framework understanding, be confident enough to develop strategy, advise management, maintain product compliance and manage external experts and consultants. Ideally you will have existing BPR / biocidal regulatory affairs knowledge; if not a good understanding of similar frameworks eg PPP or REACH and a desire to specialise in biocides would be welcomed.
