We are looking for a Project Manager who has a passion for delivering projects, has an appetite for challenge and is looking to further grow their career within regional-scale infrastructure development.At Anglian Water we are working to meet tomorrows challenges today, by planning and delivering significant infrastructure for our region to address future challenges such as securing water supply for future generations, reaching net zero, adapting to climatechange and protecting and enhancing our region for generations to come.To ensure we meet the challenges that our region faces we are planning our largest transformational investment to date, the Strategic Resource Options (SRO) Programme. The SRO Programme is focused on the design, build, finance and operation of two new multi-billion-poundwater reservoir developments; the Fens Reservoir and the Lincolnshire Reservoir. The programme needs to secure planning approval for these schemes as Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects via the Development Consent Order (DCO) route as well as establishthe delivery stage procurement of future licensed regulated entities (known as Infrastructure Providers).Each reservoir system has a regional presence being made up of 4 principal assets: i) upstream transfers (open channel/piped water transfers to feed the reservoir); ii) the main reservoir (including exploring wider benefits); iii) water treatment (potentiallyincluding INNS and water conditioning); and, iv) downstream transfers (to multiple drop-off points). The Project Manager will be leading on one or more assets and driving a large and diverse resource base of internal and supply-chain partners, (growing tocirca 250 people per reservoir over time) , through the design development process and with an initial focus on securing development consent. The role operates within a matrix structure with functional and specialist/expert support, and reporting into theSenior Programme Managers for Lincolnshire and Fens Reservoirs.What youll be doing:
