Job Description

Your base location will be in Peterborough with travel to offices/sites across Cambridgeshire.Unique opportunity to play a leading role in the development programme of multi-billion-pound water supply reservoir projects!We are looking for a project leader who has a passion for delivering major projects in the water sector and an appetite for a unique challenge within our industry-leading investment programme. As a part of the senior team tasked with delivering new watersupply infrastructure for our region, under joint promotion by Anglian Water and Cambridge Water, this project management role sits within our Strategic Resource Option (SRO) Programme. This investment programme comprises two planned new large raw water reservoirs,one in the Cambridge Fens and the other in South Lincolnshire, which are critical for securing long-term water resilience in the face of climate change and population growth and to support the protection and restoration of the environment.Reporting into the SRO Programme, the Project Manager role is ultimately responsible for the day-to-day project management of the development phase of the Fens Reservoir in Cambridgeshire, ensuring the project is delivered to programme, budget and quality.The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the project meets the required deliverables and key milestones under the RAPID regulatory gated process, the Development Consent Order (DCO) planning process and the maturing of our Delivery Stage procurementstrategy.The Project Manager role fits within a matrix structure and sits alongside functional leaders whose areas of responsibility support the project with expertise and work packages across service lines including environmental, engineering, stakeholder and consultation,land, legal and master planning delivered via combination of supply chain and internal resources. Together the senior team are accountable for delivering the SRO Programme.As a valued employee, youll be entitled to:

What does it take to be a Project Manager
  • Significant project management experience - infrastructure planning and development, design and build schemes. DCO experience is not essential but would be considered valuable.
