Committed to delivering exceptional products to our customers, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our innovative team. If you arepassionate about driving projects from conception to completion in a dynamic industry, we want to hear from you.As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and executing engineering projects within the Food and Beverage sector. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects, from initial conceptto final implementation. Your role will involve coordinating various aspects of project development, including design, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.Job responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers by providing administrative support.
  • Lead and manage engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and R&D, to define project requirements and objectives.
  • Develop project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost control measures are implemented.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to source materials and services as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including food safety and quality requirements.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned in future projects.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project engineering team.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of food & beverage industry
  • PRINCE2 or APM
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience with computer aided design (CAD)
  • Educated to degree level or have equivalent experience
