Job Role: Product ManagerLocation: Peterborough (Hybrid)Salary: £40,000-£50,000 DOEBenefits include:

A new and exciting position has recently become live with a leading managed service provider.They are searching for an experienced Product Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.The successful applicant will lead and support a team of developers and QA testers, providing them with the environment and tools to exceed targets and deliver growth.This role offers a hybrid working structure, therefore you will need to live and have the full right to work in the UK.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Inspire, lead, and coach development and QA team, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to best practices.
  • Assign tasks, set goals, and monitor performance, providing regular feedback and holding effective team meetings.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.
  • Lead planning sessions, ensuring implementations follow architectural standards and conduct regular retrospectives to identify process inefficiencies.
  • Promote values, encourage problem-solving, and facilitate exceptional customer experiences.
  • Maintain and update internal documentation for development and QA teams.
  • Collaborate with Directors to develop and deploy overarching team strategy, prioritising objectives and strategic changes.
  • Allocate and manage resources effectively, including recruitment and onboarding, capacity planning, and budget tracking.
  • Generate regular reports on team performance, analyse data, and present insights to senior management, driving efficiency and improvement.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Proven track record of collaborating effectively with development teams.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Minimum of 5 years of expertise in your field (preferably .NET environment or similar).
  • Familiarity with best practices in release and change management.
  • Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Enthusiastic about driving growth and supporting team success.
  • Outstanding communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching aptitude.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and prioritise tasks.
