Your base location will be Thorpe Wood House an Anglian Water site.Taking contract management furtherWorking within the Commercial Procurement team youll be responsible for creating and delivering a procurement plan for a range of spend categories. This will include identifying opportunities for consolidating spend, improving resilience and undertakingtendering processes. With an overall department spend of over £650m pa, this role will be focused in the Operational Procurement Team, who cover a very diverse range of activities, including technology solutions, operational services and construction services(e.g. Chemicals, Pumps, M&E Services and Fleet Services).You will be someone who takes ownership to drive cost reduction and supplier performance improvement whilst providing a strong procurement service to our business stakeholders. The ability to project manage will be critical to your success in this role alongwith a proven track record of excellent stakeholder engagement and management. An ability to hear and understand the business needs are essential requirements.
