JTH Recruitment are currently working with our very prestigious and well established client that are looking for a Process/Project Engineer, the successful candidate will be working with a dynamic team of enthusiastic engineers working under own initiativein a professional open-plan office environment.This is brilliant opportuntiy for a Project Engineer looking for training and on going development as well as the opportunity to work abroad. The role is 40% office based 60% on client sites mainly abroad and sometimes for up to 6 weeks to do the installand then home for 2 weeks and back for the commissioning for 2 -3 weeks dependent on the Project.My client are offering a very competitive salary, company car, overtime are just some of the benefits.Ideally the Project engineer will have a background within the food industry or pharmaceutical or similar.The Role:Candidate AttributesHNC or HND in EngineerIdeally 3 years industry/field experienceGood understanding of machinery processes and design - logical mindA good balance of pre-engineering experience and "hands-on" engineering aptitudeDynamic, enthusiastic and flexible approach and willing to travel (at times on extended durations)Excellent Commercial awarenessExcellent people skills and clear communicator with the ability to form strong customer relationshipsComputer literate with working knowledge of the following:- Microsoft Project & Office range of programs Ideally AutoCAD conversant to support generation of P&ID’s, Layout modification and drawing interpretations when on site.A full job spec can be provided on successful applicationThis position is based in Peterborough an easily commutable distance from Stamford, Hampton, Corby, Northampton, Grantham, Market Deeping, Oundle, Whittlesey, Wisbech, Kings Lynn.
