Job Description

Are you a Mechanical Engineer who is experienced working with pressure regulations PSSR and PED or an engineer surveyor thats looking for the next step in your career and interested in a career with an original test, inspection and certification company with over a hundred and fifty years of historyYou will be rewarded with a package circa £55K and have a huge amount of training invested in you within the first 12 months. You will receive a £40k-45k salary with 10% contributory pension, yearly bonus and £5K car allowance.     • Main Accountabilities:
  • Pre-commissioning inspection for pressure equipment and dangerous goods tanks
  • In service inspections of pressure equipment boilers, steam plant, compressors, steam turbines, pressure vessels condensers, heat exchangers
  • Review documentation relating to materials, welding and NDT
  • Being a specialist with Pressure equipment directive and pressure safety system regulations
  • Autonomy of personal diary
  • Streamlined and simplified recording of information
  • Maintaining client relationships
  • Working closely with design engineers
  • Operate within agreed authorities, inspection and H&S standards
  • Clear customer focus and drive to achieve optimal service delivery
    • Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • HNC or Level 4 qualification equivalent in any engineering discipline
  • Knowledge of PSSR or PED regulations
  • UK Driving licence
  • Customer facing skills
