Job Description

Preschool Practitioner Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, PE1 2BZSalary: Pathway 1 Point 1-3, £15,136.59- £15,594 (FTE- £18,333.00- £18,887.00)Hours: 35.83 hours (35 hours, 50 minutes per week) Term time plus one weekAbout the TrustOur client is a charitable organisation dedicated to raising educational outcomes across a range of primary and secondary phase schools and academies in the East Midlands. As a multi-academy trust they strive to provide outstanding teaching and learningfor all and an ethos and culture that encourages everyone to be the very best that they can be.They put learners, and their learning, at the heart of everything they do.The RoleA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a new Preschool Practitioner at the Academys PreschoolYou will work as a key person and as part of the Preschool under the direction of the Preschool ManagerYou will provide safe, high-quality education and care for young children which meets the individual needs of the children attending the settingThe successful candidate will provide a high level of care that will enhance the childrens general health and well-beingThe PersonYou will:

  • Have knowledge of EYFS Curriculum
  • Have knowledge and understanding of child care development
  • Promote a positive and inclusive Nursery for children and their families
  • Be able to establish a purposeful, caring and nurturing environment where all children feel secure and confident
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask to ensure all childrens needs are met
