Job Description

Portfolio LeadSalary - circa £66,000 per annum, dependent on skills, experience& car allowanceSecondment / Fixed term contract - 9 monthsFull-time- 37 HoursYour base location will be Thorpe Wood House, Peterborough.Anglian Water offers the flexibility to work from both home and the officeJoin our expanding team we have an exciting opportunity to make this role your own and to map your own future within this key role!What will you be doingYou will play a key leadership role across both Treatment and Networks within the Asset Delivery Planning function. You will lead the portfolios for Storm and Emergency Overflows, Bathing Waters, Advanced WINEP and Continuous Water Quality Monitoring supportingthe Head of Asset Delivery Planning in the delivery of our National Environmental Programme.You will have the end-to-end accountability of the investment process in this portfolio area. This will comprise of the development and maintenance of the dynamic view of risk and needs in the sub business stream and ensuring thatinvestment and deliveryplans are in place (for the short, medium and long term) to manage this risk and deliver outcomes to internal and external customers.Duties will include:

  • Owning the risk identification process and the live risk register for the sub business stream
  • Optimising investment plans to deliver business outcomes including wider environmental benefits.
  • Working with stakeholders to ensure we can comply with regulatory requests and obligations.
  • Ensure effective stakeholder engagement across the business, delivery alliances and external partners. This role is akey point of contact for sub-business stream Heads and their immediate team.
  • An important part of this role is to create and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships and to champion a TOTEX mind set across all areas of the business.

  • Ability and experience of building solutions within communities, for example Green Partnership
  • System lifecycle thinking with the ability to think and challenge both strategically and tactically
  • A good understanding of risk and risk management processes
  • Experience of building and managing productive, credible business relationships with managers and stakeholders
  • The ability to adapt, think strategically and challenge constructively
  • A broad understanding of the water recycling process
  • Full UK Driving Licence
