Job Description

About the Role:We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic PR Manager to build and maintain a world-class PR and communications function at one of the UK and Irelands most exciting technology and professional services businesses.Youll lead our drive to improve our brand awareness and develop our reputation within the industry, designing and orchestrating exciting PR campaigns, influencing our thought leadership strategy, and working closely with the wider Marketing team to addvalue to our campaigns.Youll have ownership over the PR strategy and agency relationship, using your skills and experience to help build an agile and responsive PR function that influences the right people, secures coverage in the right publications, and helps open up new commercialopportunities.Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the relationship with our PR agency.
  • Define a PR strategy to support core business objectives.
  • Plan, budget and deliver PR events, award programs, and initiatives.
  • Work with other group companies to align strategy, drive efficiencies and ensure best practice is applied.
  • Design and review the online content in media announcements and media kits.
  • Monitor corporate image frequently and ensure it follows company brand guidelines.
  • Check and manage campaign content produced for website and social media channels.
  • Develop and implement PR policies and procedures.
  • Determine KPIs for PR department.
  • Measure and provide monthly reports for generic and specific campaign activity.
  • Build long-term relationships with all relevant external stakeholders, such as industry analysts, regulatory bodies, media people, policy setting divisions government, etc.
  • Produce content for various speeches and events.
  • Develop and implement crisis communications advice and media strategy, as needed.
  • Help in designing and reviewing a variety of promotional and marketing materials.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Previous experience as a Public Relations Specialist (5+ years) client or agency side. Preferably in a technology (SaaS), FinTech, Payroll or HR related business.
  • BSc/BA in PR, communications, journalism, or similar relevant field.
  • A proven track record of successful PR campaigns.

  • Aptitude for presentation, copywriting and speaking.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • High energy and passionate.
  • Strong knowledge of the media, preferably with an existing black book of journalist contacts.
  • Additional skills in branding and/or graphic design desirable, but not essential.
