Powertrain Design EngineerOur manufacturing client needs a Powertrain Design Engineer for a twelve-month contract in the Peterborough area.You will be co-ordinating and delivering components and system designs as well as top level machine configurations.The team is responsible for developing novel engineering solutions and processes. The role requires a design engineer who can think imaginatively whilst not being over possessive of their work - IE the projects work on will not be seen to fruition. The requirements are*Holding an accredited engineering degree*Being an expert user of Creo (Pro/e) for modelling and detailing; ideally with experience in cabling and harnessing*Having experience of working with PLM tools for developing large assemblies of engines or whole machine design (eg Teamcenter Visualization Mockup)*Being proficient in detailed component design;*Independent collaboration with peers, suppliers, and process partners. (i.e., supply chain, logistics, purchasing, other engineering teams, etc) on a worldwide basis.*Demonstrating appreciation of APQP Tools, Failure Mode & Effects Analysis and DVP&RDo get in touch or apply if you have the necessary skills and outlook.Powertrain Design Engineer
