The Paint Technician will be responsible for performing all the tasks related to full panel paint and spot refinish per Axiomsrepair standards and Operational Process Guides. This is a key position to ensure our customers have a world-class repair experience.Hours: 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.Key Contributions1. Production Throughput: Performing all repairs right the first time, in adherence with AXIOMs quality standards. This supports our brand promise of 85% of all repairs completed in 3-days or less.2. Problem Solving: Is an active and prepared participant in the morning production meeting. Follows up on all assigned action items and communicates effectively as a team.3. Customer Satisfaction: Completing all repairs with urgency & accuracy, which will support Axioms desire to deliver a world-class customer experience.4. Organised & Safe Workplace: Maintains the workspace in an organised and safe manner. Works in accordance with health and safety practices. Completes the company health and safety training promptly, taking ownership of reporting any health and safety concernswithin the workplace.Position Requirements
  • Must be aligned with the Axiom Core Values.
  • Must have a valid drivers license.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously and independently in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Engaged in continuous learning and development.
  • Must be proficient in colour match for panel painting.
  • Must be proficient in blending paint and clear coat within a panel.
  • Must have a good understanding of paint and preparation processes and procedures.
  • Must be able to sand and polish out any paint imperfections.
Qualifications
  • Holds a relevant Industry qualification (ATA, City & Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent).
  • Use of Ultraviolet primers/clearcoats would be advantageous.
  • IMI EV Awareness Desirable
