Job Description

The RoleWe are delighted to confirm that we are currently seeking a Multi Skilled Plumber to join our Fortem team, you will be based at our Longhurst Group branch based in Rushden however you will be required to work in and around the East Northamptonshire, Peterborough& Rutland areas.Most importantly, you will be joining a values based business with a true family ethos, with our people at the heart of everything that we do.Benefits

The ProjectThe role involves carrying out general plumbing maintenance work to a high standard with the minimum of Supervision. Carry out fault diagnosis and communicating effectively additional works required back to your Supervisor/Line Managers to ensure all follow-onworks have been captured, leaving the resident assured. You will take ownership of work, aiming for First time Fix on all jobs whilst remaining within budget and time parameters. You will also operate within company Health and Safety guidelines and remainup to date with technical and legal requirements of your skill areas. Typical work will comprise of day to day repairs/maintenance, renewal or refurbishment works to properties..Essential and Desirable CriteriaThe successful candidate will meet the following criteria: Essential CriteriaC&G Craft/Advanced Craft Certificate in Plumbing or the equivalent to these which are C&G L2 & L3 6129 Technical Certificate + NVQ 2+3 Certificates in Plumbing C&G 6089 Full UK driving licence Desirable QualificationsJIBP H&S Test certificate with current JIBP card Unvented Hot Water Certificate Water Regulations Certificate Past experience in a responsive repairs role Fortem embraces diversity in the workplace and encourages applications from all sectors of the community.Personal QualitiesAt Fortem we look for a balance of skills and experience but just as important to us are your values and behaviours.
