Job Description

Personal Tax Senior PeterboroughUp to £42,000 (DOE)Full Time | Permanent An excellent boutique firm of chartered accountants are actively seeking an experienced Personal Tax Senior to join their fast-growing team in Peterborough. If you are looking for a new position where you will benefit from a tailored progression plan, flexible working and your own portfolio of exciting HNWI and UHNWI clients, this could be the perfect next step for you.What will your role entail

  • Managing a portfolio of HNWI and UHNWI clients, offering advisory services
  • Completing both standard and complex personal tax returns, alongside reviewing the work of juniors
  • Working with a variety of issues, but most prominently: residency/domicile, CGT and property
  • Supporting the managers and directors on ad-hoc project work where required
  • Coach and help support more junior members of staff with queries
What experience will you have
  • Newly qualified ATT or CTA (QBE will also be considered)
  • At least 3 years experience working in a tax role in practice
  • Must be able to demonstrable knowledge of a broad range of tax issues
  • Good communication skills and organisational skills
  • Strong commitment to deadlines, and ability to work well under pressure
  • Commercial awareness / client focus
  • Good problem solving and decision-making skills
