Job Description

Reporting into the Head of People Services with responsibility for leading the People Services Team and operating as the payroll lead, you will be joining this forward thinking and people first organisation at an exciting time. The role and team are newly created within the people function, and you will support your team in delivering first class support to colleagues across the business.The team are rich on HR know how but lack a payroll expert - this is where you will come in. Ideally experienced in resource link, but certainly a confident user of payroll systems, you will ensure a seamless payroll and HR support function to your internal customers.The role is extremely varied, and will include:

  • Delivering the HR and payroll support function to internal colleagues against agreed service levels.
  • Reviewing and signing off monthly payroll and engaging extensively with the internal payroll service provider to ensure everyone is paid in full and on time.
  • Monitoring all ER cases within the internal HR system robustly recording outcomes and identifying efficiencies.
  • Reviewing all internal processes, ensuring they are accurately documented and working with the team to streamline all activities.
  • Maintaining all HR systems.
  • Providing HR reporting in full to all key stakeholders - ensuring fit for purpose, accurate and on time.
  • You will already have experience in leading an HR admin team and pride yourself on service delivery and continuous improvement. You will be expert in all things payroll and pride yourself on staying up to date and informed on all legislative changes.
