Job Description

Network Security Analyst, Firewall, WAFAn exciting opportunity is available for a Network Security Analyst to join a trusted and reliable financial company. With a global presence, this is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to join a well-established organisation.The organisation is looking for an enthusiastic individual who can excel in a dynamic environment and become responsible for protecting networks from cyber threats and bugs. You will have the chance to design and optimise a set of security controls and moreimportantly, consult surrounding teams of these cyber threats that could potentially take place and act upon them.Essential Skills

  • Knowledge of security tools and technologies such as firewall, WAF, Proxy, DLP and others
  • An excellent understanding of networking concepts and technologies-Checkpoint, Cisco ACI, Zscalar and Forcepoint
  • A good understanding of NIST,ISO 27001 and CIS standards
  • Knowledge of NIST Cyber Security Framework and NIST Special Publication 800-50 Cyber Security Controls
  • Familiar with NCSC Cyber Security Guidance for Network Security
Essential Experience
  • Previous experience in demonstrating capability in various network security solutions such as: Firewalls (Check Point, Cisco, Palo Alto), Algosec Firewall analyser and automation, Cloud technologies, Network Proxy, Web Application Firewalls, DLP
  • Experience of supporting Security Operation Centre, Third Party Security Assurance and Customer Security Assurance programmes
  • Experience with IT security Risk management
  • Experience with governance in network security
