Job Description

Network Architect – Outside IR35 We are currently recruiting a Network Architect to join our client based in Bristol to support them on a contract delivering essential changes to their network infrastructure. This is a 3-month contract, Outside IR35, and will pay up to £520/day based on skills available. You will work with our IT team and the Solution Architect in supporting the delivery of improvements to our hybrid setup. What will you do The main deliverables for the Network Architect are:

  • You will gather the requirements and work to develop and effective systems design and migrate solutions that meet operational needs
  • You will work to support in the integration of COTS software into Azure
  • You will work with third-party suppliers and vendors to ensure that SLA’s and service guarantees can be assured
  • You will participate in delivering governance and service assurances
  • You will troubleshoot and resolve issues as well as develop effective tools to monitor service and network health
    • Skills Required The skills, knowledge, and qualification required are:
  • Experience delivering Infrastructure and Networking projects in large enterprise settings
  • Experience working in hybrid networking environments
  • An understanding of technical governance and the ability to deliver the assurance of a service
  • Experience of delivering infrastructure solutions surrounding computing, storage, networking, physical infrastructure, software, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and open-source packages and solutions, and virtual and cloud computing, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
  • Expertise in Azure Networking, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Meraki, Cisco ASA Firewalls, SD-WAN, F5, and Citrix NetScaler
  • An understanding of the application of firewall technology, SIEM feeds, vNets and Peering, Routing, NSG’s, Express Route, VPN (P2S and S2S) Load balancing, and Application Gateway
