Henderson BrownMulti-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (FMCG/Food) - (Electrical & Mechanical) - £16.14 + 20% Shift (£42,299) - PeterboroughPanama Shift Pattern - Including Days & Nights (12-Hour Shifts) - 42 Hours a WeekHenderson Brown is recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a client of ours who operates in the breakfast cereals and healthy snacks industries.The key objective is to have both Electrical and Mechanical maintenance experience as well as a previous FMCG/Snack foods maintenance background.Main Responsibilities*Perform routine, and planned maintenance on all equipment and observe daily, weekly, and monthly tests and recording policies.*Attend breakdown repairs on machines in a timely manner and minimise loss of production.*Record parts used, maintenance performed, repairs, and remedial activity required.*Provide support to cover small maintenance works on the buildings where required.*Ensure good housekeeping at all times as well as order spare parts.*Once starting and finishing shifts, ensure team members, supervisors, and managers are aware of completed maintenance, repairs, and outstanding maintenance/repairs.*Efficient diagnosis and correction of electrical and mechanical faults site wide.*Installation and commissioning of all new and repaired machinery and equipment.*Assist manufacturing with machinery adjustments, changeovers, and setup.*Take an active role in Health and Safety requirements on siteThe Candidate*Able to strip machines in full and reassemble them, as well as completing machine size change procedures and their adjustments.*Hold a strong Multi-Skilled Maintenance background.*Able to carry out both electrical and mechanical maintenance work.*FMCG/Snack foods background.*Comfortable reading technical drawings.*PLC Fault Finding experience.*Comfortable working on a Panama shift pattern that includes days & nights.Benefits*Permanent opportunity.*On-site canteen & free car parking.*Private healthcare*Overtime available.*Discounted company products.*20% shift premium on every shift (£42,299 yearly salary).
