Job Description

FIRE ALARM, WARDEN-CALL AND DOOR ENTRY/ACCESS CONTROL ENGINEER Alecto Recruitment are looking for a Fire Alarm, Warden-Call and Door Entry/Access Control specialist to join its trusted team of engineers. Our client are a fast-growing company with exciting new and varied projects, working for a mixture of national and regional organisations. Our client are renowned for the quality of their work so are looking for engineers with strong maintenance and installation experience.Our client portfolio is always expanding with work including, but not limited to the following:

  • Retirement homes
  • Large blocks of flats/apartments
  • Commercial developments, such as schools, spas, village halls etc
  • Industrial properties including factories.
    • RequirementExperience and qualifications in the following areas are essential for this role:
  • Warden call systems (preferably Tynetec)
  • Door entry and access control systems
  • Fire alarms
    • Additional experience and qualifications in the following ares are preferred but not essential:
  • CCTV
  • Audio Visual
  • Emergency Lighting
    • Duties The job role will be varied, but the main duties will include:
  • Reactive and planned maintenance and Installation of Warden-Call Systems
  • Reactive and planned maintenance and Installation of Fire Alarm Systems
  • Reactive and planned maintenance and Installation of Door Entry/Access Control
  • Fault Finding
  • Working both by yourself and as part of a team
  • Planning and maintaining job materials
  • Liaising between site management teams and office staff
    • Qualifications/ ExperienceThe following skills/qualifications are required for this role:
  • FIA qualifications
  • Driving Licence
  • Flexible and hardworking
  • Self-motivated
  • Works in a clean and tidy manner
  • Works diligently with strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Someone who takes enormous pride in their work
