Job Description

Job title: Merchandise AssistantJob type: Monday to FridayShift: 9am to 5pmSalary: £20k - £22k per annum (depending on experience)Location: Oundle (please note: your own transport is required to get to site)Are you highly organised, have excellent attention to detail and would like a role within a fast-paced, innovative environment Then this is the perfect role for you! Our client are looking for an IT literate, proactive person to assist the MerchandisingManager in organising stock and suppliers at their offices in Oundle.Main duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Ensuring goods are ordered and delivered to specification and on time.
  • Identifying and dealing with associated issues with both warehouse and direct dispatch deliveries.
  • Responsible for stock control identifying and clearing aged and slow-moving stock.
  • Assisting suppliers with deliveries and related queries.
  • Maintaining warehouse tracker for incoming deliveries.
  • Generate purchase orders for supplier-held stock.
  • Monitor and improve poor performing supplies identifying potential fines.
  • Working closely with Supplier Support, Customer Support and Warehouse team.
  • Monitoring and controlling Sale or Return or Consignment Stock.
  • Work with buyers to increase product availability for general web sales.
  • Arrange and track replacement product for Customer Service Issues.
  • Create and implement new procedures as the business develops.
  • Data analysis and interpretation.
  • Manage and co-ordinate projects as required.
