Job Description

Medical Workforce Lead - Peterborough - 3 month contract - £40-48K per annum FTEWe are currently recruiting for a Medical Workforce Lead to work for a major healthcare organisation based in Peterborough on a 3 month contract with a possible extension. Candidates with experience of Workforce planning within the NHS will have a distinct advantage.Duties:

  • Support the delivery of the annual Job Planning and Appraisal process for medical staff
  • Work collaboratively with Medical Workforce Team to deliver operational processes
  • Oversee the safe recruitment of all grades of doctor and provide expert advice to ensure compliance with relevant Terms and Conditions for the medical workforce.
  • Provide effective support in all matters of medical staff conduct, capability standards and employee relations
  • Ensure the development of medical workforce plans, actively supporting the development of alternative service delivery and medical workforce models.
