I am currently recruiting for a mechanical engineer to join a business who specialise in the design and development of special-purpose machinery that is used in a variety of high integrity sectors. Ideally, you will have a background in designing machinery for the pharmaceutical or food and beverage sectors and will have experience designing heavy-duty machinery.This role has been newly created as a result of growth. Despite the current economic climate, they have grown from strength to strength and are growing out of their design team. It will be a mix of new designs and improving/modifying existing machines.The role is based in Peterborough and the salary for the role is between £35,000 and £45,000 depending on experience.Requirements:+ Strong experience with a CAD package. They run SolidWorks, but they are open to training you up if you havent used it before+ Experience designing special-purpose machinery+ Background in designing machinery for highly regulated sectors+ Experience with heavy machinery+ Full lifecycle product design experience, and experience modifying and improving current designsTo apply, please send in an up to date CV Required skills
