Job Description

About the opportunity:We are working as the internal recruitment partner for a well-established organisation who own some of the UKs most well-known household brand names.We are presenting an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Internship for a 12-month contract based at our clients offices in Peterborough.This is a truly unique opportunity which will allow the successful candidate to get really involved and have the full support of a highly skilled team of professionals whilst being given the chance to learn through providing a key support function to theMarketing and Brand teams.This role is ideal for:

  • A professional with some experience in Marketing and looking to learn and develop further
  • A recent Graduate looking for some exposure to Marketing
  • A student looking for a placement / gap year
However, we would welcome applications from all candidates who have had experience in a professional office-based role and can demonstrate a real aptitude to learning and a genuine passion for all things marketing.As a Marketing Intern you will report into the Brand Experience Marketing Manager; this role will see you being the main point of contact for key stakeholders attending events at the showroom facility, ensuring a positive experience by administeringand supporting the events. You will complete all administrative tasks to support the team ensuring the department runs as smoothly as possible.As a successful Marketing Intern, you will be confident, able to communicate effectively at all levels with a genuine passion for marketing. Sound like you Then we want to hear from you!RequirementsWho we are looking for:We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following
  • A genuine interest in Marketing
  • A degree is preferred but not essential
  • Administrative experience in a professional environment
  • Experience of using MS packages including working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook etc
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • High learning agility and adaptability; continuous curiosity to learn and develop with a positive mindset
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills, able to operate with all levels of employees and team members
